Stops on this day

Sunrise trekking
With a local guide you climb Mount Batur in the dark, by torchlight, and reach the top in time for sunrise. Takes about 2 hours up – a moderate hike.
Sunrise jeep tour
Prefer not to hike? A 4×4 jeep takes you up to a viewpoint for the sunrise and then over the black lava fields left by earlier eruptions.
Batur natural hot springs
After the early start, relax in warm volcanic water right on the shore of Lake Batur – the perfect end to the morning.
